This is a layout I just posted on my sistv gallery. It's one of my faves. No creating for me today though, because today is GARAGE SALE day!! WOOhHoooooo! I know - I'm a dork. You really do find some steals here in Indiana - where there are like 80-100 garage sales every weekend until mid October. I tell you the truth! Today I'll be looking for photo props - like that perfect little vintage chair with scraped off paint and lotsa character, or some old quilts to use as backdrops. My kids are so patient with me. They watch tv in the van while I peruse around the city, and they usually get fast food for lunch - so don't feel too sorry for them. Some of my best finds have been Pottery Barn pillows, pampered chef tools, slim n 6 dvd set - never used, stampin' up stamps, and every now and then I'll happen upon that sale that has all boutique/name brand clothes like gymbo, Cakewalk, Baby Lulu - and it's all in my kid's sizes! Sigh! So, what are you're favorite finds?

Here is a new pic of my little man that I took this week. LOVE how just his little eyes are peeking up. He is so small in that giant highchair. TOok this with my fisheye lens and I think it just adds such a fun effect!

What a crazy week - I keep intending to update this and then life happens. Soooooo much laundry now that little man has joined us! Homeschooling two kiddos, trying to finish painting little man's room, networking for my scrapbooking - it's fun and I'd like to join a design team someday. That would mean more scrap goodies. . .at a discount! Hubby would LOVE that! ;) I'm so excited, the girl I took pics for loves them. She has showed them to others who now want to book me for Fall and Winter! Yay! To top it all off, I just signed up for a photography class online from a well-known (in the scrapbook industry) photographer!!! That will give me just the confidence I need. I have been totally inspired by what I see and the girls are so amazing and actually respond to posts. They also have great stuff in the boutique that I've got my eye on. . .poor hubby! Well - off to do more laundry and get the house straightened.

Today has been a good and busy day. It began with my 4 year old coming into my room and crying because "her nose was sniffing her real hard." =) I love the things my little ones say! I had a friend call and ask if I would like her to stay with my kiddos today so I could run errands. Um - YEAH BABY!! Soooo - I grocery shopped in record timing without 4 children fighting and hanging on me and pushing the grocery cart into other people and asking if they can hold this and that and can they have this and that. . .you get the idea. In reality they are not that bad. I also dropped off a cd of some pics I did for my first photo shoot of someone's kids other than my own. I really hope she liked them. I think they turned out purdy cute if I do say so myself. That's a sample of one. The mom likes the storybook/fairy pictures. Welp - off to do some late night scrappin' since the kiddos are asleep!!

Today is my first post on this new blog. I will write about my endeavors as a young, homeschooling, scrapbooking, photography lovin', mommy to 4 kiddos. My musings will be short and sweet. Expect many lists as I love lists. I love accomplishing the things on my lists even more. It's one of those weird things that brings a 'lil joy to my day. It is 3am here though, and I am pooped and will have to wake up with baby number4 in about an hour, so I'll start my musings tomorrow. =)
